ASB Steering Group

Please note: This page is for our partner agencies only. If you would like to report anti-social behaviour, please visit our anti-social behaviour page.

The ASB & Hate Crime steering group meeting reviews and discusses medium/high risk victims, perpetrators and locations of concern due to anti-social behaviour and hate crime.

The Steering Group meeting is used for problem solving, focussed on measurable outcomes and protecting communities from ASB.

Referrals can be made by officers based upon their assessment of risk and professional judgement due to seriousness, vulnerability, or persistence of problem. Referrals can be accepted for victims, perpetrators and locations.

What do I need to do before submitting a referral?

Before submitting a referral to the ASB Steering Group, officers must have completed initial enquiries e.g., letter drops, etc.

It is preferable that early interventions such as Acceptable Behaviour Contracts have been attempted, where possible

If you submit a referral, you will be expected to attend the meeting to discuss the case. If you or a colleague are unable to attend, your case may not be heard.
